Northwest Wisconsin Lakes Conference is calling all Artists
The organizers of the Northwest Lakes Conference would like to offer artists the opportunity to feature their art as part of this year’s regional conference. Your work may also be included in marketing materials promoting the event to be held in person on June 23, 2023 in Spooner, WI. If selected, your creations with subjects that reflect the beauty of our lakes and wildlife in the region could reach a broad audience of thousands. Attendees at the in-person conference cherish these waters and places; art has the ability to capture what our attendees most revere.
The Northwest Lakes Conference, celebrating our 25th year, focuses on raising awareness about lakes and related issues ranging from land use, water quality, and wildlife, to invasive species and other topics. The keynote speaker will focus on wildlife near the water’s edge. We are looking for original artwork that could be in any 2D medium, focused on subjects related to lakes and people, water, wildlife, or other similar subjects.
Our team is a group with wide experience and a variety of skills from lake science to land and water conservation, including many partners active in protecting water resources in our region. If you are interested in sharing your art through our forum or have questions, please email Diane Daulton before March 3rd to learn more. Use “NW Lakes Conference Art” in the subject line.
